In 2017, our group identified a potent and selective inhibitor of 3MST ( 50 value of 2.7 M toward mouse 3MST and shows high selectivity over rat CBS, rat CSE, and bovine rhodanese ( 50 value of I3MT-3 toward human 3MST is 13.6 M (Figure 8) ( K d value of 0.5 M, whereas no binding was detected with the reduced form (Rao et al., 2023)
